Sydney likes to be held up to be able to see everything around her these days. She knows how to get her way with us, and we are great enablers! Her chubber cheeks are only accentuated when she smiles. Today was her baby blessing and she was all smiles on the way to church (usually she sleeps), and I knew it was not going to last. By the end I was covered in regurgitated milk and my feet were killing me from standing with her for 45 min bouncing in heels.

Here is Grandma McAfee cleaning after the feast we had, thanks to her. She always has a ton of food at gatherings. She said to me today, "I don't want people to feel like they can't take a lot" as she loaded the dishes by twice the amount I had. I was fat and happy by the end of the hour as was everyone else.

The camera lens was fogging up, but there is Sydney in her cute white dress all ready for church. It was amazing I didn't find any green stains on the back by the end of church. It is still white.

2 month old sweetie

What a smile. Finally got one on camera. She is doing really good with the bumbo seat and likes to watch tv in it and help mom do puzzles. Those are the roses lucus gave me for Valentines day!!!

Our happy little family. When I wore my glasses for the first time in front of Sydney, she looked at me with a puzzled expression and wouldn't smile at me for that day.

WOW!! Startin' her young on the ol' laptop. Must be playing solitaire and sippin on some milk. He he he he...

Man I just love this face. Lucus and I have so much fun with her. She is 7 weeks now and just smiled for the first time last week. I haven't been able to catch it on camera, but I will. It just melts my heart. Being a parent is wonderful!!! One thing we couldn't do without is our oversized exercise ball. We use it to bounce her to sleep and when she is fussy it seems like it is the only thing that works.

She has a "permatan" just like her daddy. I've never been so lucky.

A long day at the hospital with a Christmas baby. She was born @2:05 am and weighed 8lbs 3oz. She has the chubbiest cheeks and is so precious. Santa even came by to see her in the hospital.

Here we are getting ready to go to the hospital to be induced for labor on Christmas Eve. Ready or not at 40 weeks pregnant.

Our little treck up into the woods was fun, but didn't make the baby any more anxious to come out. We cut our little tree with the chainsaw that smoked a little much in the beginning making it hard to breath and see. Although it is small and scragly, the tree we chose is perfect for us. We will make it beautiful with lights and ornaments.
